The Employment and Local Development Agency of the Town Council of Granadilla de Abona in collaboration with the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Wine Abona and the Business Association of Granadilla Centro have organized “SUMMER FLAVORS SENSATIONS”. the past friday, july 29, 2022The objective is to promote the catering establishments in the municipality in order to publicize the gastronomic excellence of the same increasing tourism and visits and thus commercially revitalize the area.
The event, which has a great tradition due to its multiple editions, was once again very well received, and was attended by funding by the Cabildo Insular de Tenerifeobtained in the framework of the Call for Subsidies for the financing of actions of Commercial Revitalization of urban centers of the island of Tenerife. of the year 2022.
Once again this year the event meant a great projection of the Medano nucleus, positively affecting all the businesses in this area due to the strong attendance of the public that also visits businesses of all kinds, stays in hotels and spends the weekend in this coastal area.
Restaurants, tascas, bars, cafes, coffee shops, pastry shops, sweet shops, catering companies, the partners of the Farmer’s Market of Granadilla de Abona who sold processed products, artisans and food products companies located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona. A total of 22 tents were available.

Participants were able to present and market their products at the stands set up for this purpose:

The Organizing Committee received the registrations in strict order of arrival and reserves the right to manage the selection of tapas to be presented, since repetitions or preparations that did not meet the minimum quality requirements of the rules were avoided.
After the closing of the registration period, a working meeting was organized with all the participants to coordinate the final selection of tapas and their presentation, trying, among other things, to avoid repeating the proposals.
